DESCRIPTION:Join us at Anderson Ranch Arts Center for a special screening presented as part of Art21’s Screening Society\, a program that brings communities together to experience and discuss contemporary art through film.  This event free and is presented in collaboration with Art21. For more information\, visit art21.org. Following the screening\, attendees are invited to stay for dinner at our Café for $30 per person. Registration is appreciated. By providing free access to documentary films about contemporary artists\, Screening Society promotes conversation\, inspires creative thinking\, and broadens engagement with contemporary art. This screening features “Human Nature\,” an Art21 film exploring the work of internationally acclaimed artists: Delcy Morelos\, Josh Kline\, Lenka Clayton\, and Sin Wai Kin. The featured artists examine the central questions surrounding what it means to be human: investigating our impact on the environment and the world around us\, probing the social and economic systems that define our daily lives\, and discovering how we relate and connect with one another. Through their critical yet hopeful reflections on the shared project of being human\, these four artists emphasize our collective power to shape our communities\, current realities\, and coming futures with themes of environmental stewardship\, technology\, identity\, community through immersive installations\, sculpture\, video\, and speculative storytelling Presented in partnership with Art21\, a celebrated global leader in presenting thought-provoking and sophisticated content about contemporary art\, this event offers an opportunity to learn directly from some of the most influential artists working today.
