Creative Rounds

Watch a virtual group 15×15 presentation format, eight participants are invited to cull and present 15 images, then talk about each for 15 seconds. In other words, there are 225 seconds to tell a story, any story, with visuals guiding the way. This presentation will be hosted on the video conferencing platform, Zoom.

Whitney Bradshaw

Whitney Bradshaw is an artist, activist, educator, and former social worker whose practice seeks to empower her subjects while challenging the social systems that marginalize and oppress them. She is currently the chair of the visual arts conservatory at ChiArts (the Chicago High School for the Arts).


Fanshen Cox

Fanshen Cox is the creator of the award-winning one-woman show One Drop of Love, exploring the intersections of race, class, gender, history and identity. Fanshen also facilitates workshops and delivers keynotes on using narrative in empathy-building, exploring historical context, and how the construction of race affects our closest relationships.


Kyle Jensen

From his background in Ecology, Kyle Jensen is working to bring the wisdom of nature to industrial processes like farming and waste management. Bourne from a curiosity in integrative wastewater systems, he began an amateur study of earth’s grandmasters of chemistry, the kingdom of fungi. Upon relocating to the valley in 2018, he learned to cultivate gourmet mushrooms and co-founded a business that supplies them to local markets and restaurants. His involvement in the agricultural community helped him consolidate all of his passions into the field of soil ecology. After a year and a half of online coursework, he’s embarking on a business venture that will restore fertility to soils in human-impacted areas.


Anina Major

Anina Major is a visual artist from The Bahamas whose work investigates the relationships between self and place in efforts to cultivate a sense of belonging. Major holds an MFA from Rhode Island School of Design and is a recent Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center Fellow.


Tina Ortman

Tina Ortman has been a professional upholsterer for 26 years. She’s learned many ways of attaching fabric to wood but when she came up against metal frames, the process had to change. She’s started down a new path of working in metal with the adaptions necessary to apply upholstery. 


George Peters

George Peters works with aerial forms including installation sculpture, kites, mobiles, wind sculpture and banner works. He attended the Art Center School of Design in Los Angeles and later worked in various art in graphic design, illustration, sculpture, film animation, digital imaging, architectural modeling, theater set and costume design.


David Wang has worked in the culinary field for the past decade, most of which was spent in the RFV. Through his time at various establishments in the valley, David has honed his craft, developing his personal cooking style and highlighting the flavors from his childhood and his East-Asian heritage.
