Silma Sierra Berrada
Interim Studio Coordinator of Painting, Drawing and Printmaking
Silma Sierra Berrada graduated from Princeton University in 2022, receiving her BA in English with certificates in African American Studies, Creative Writing, Theater, and Visual Arts. She received the Louis Sudler Prize in the Arts, Alex Adams Award, and George B. Wood Legacy Prize. Silma’s artistic practice calls upon her time in the theater—playwriting, directing, producing, and scenic design—along with creative writing and visual arts—photography, painting, printmaking, and drawing. Her interdisciplinary work has been featured in the McCarter Theatre and the Lewis Center for the Arts New Works Festival. In the fall of 2023, she will attend Columbia University to earn her Theatre MFA in Playwriting.
