Occurring on the third Thursday of the month from January through April, Thinker Thursdays are events that registration-required, open to the public and include both freeform creative presentations and more formal critique sessions for practicing creatives.
These may not be limited to the visual arts! We’re inviting all types of people to come and join the fun! Designers, filmmakers, architects, writers, innovators… if you have ideas, you have a place in Thinker Thursdays!
In a live group 15×15 presentation format, participants are invited to cull and present 15 images, then talk about each for 15 seconds. In other words, there are 225 seconds to tell a story, any story, with visuals guiding the way. Come and celebrate community, conversation and a special themed dinner at the Ranch.
Crits and Conversations
Join us for an Anderson Ranch critique session! It’s a great time to meet other thoughtful artists, refine your ideas and take your work to the next level. A variety of Roaring Fork Valley-based artists, architects and designers will facilitate the sessions. All levels are welcome to participate with up to eight new or in-progress pieces in any medium. Critiques are done in a supportive and constructive environment.
Participants see artwork from up to five different artists, discussing each for about 20 minutes. The discussion is guided by Ranch artistic staff with experience in critique settings. Participation is free and open to the public.
Please contact Leah Aegerter to RSVP: email@example.com
Participants are welcome to stay for dinner after each session and dine with our staff and Artists-in-Residence. Dinner starts promptly at 6PM. Reservations required.
