This class is designed for those who have a basic working knowledge of digital photography and want to take a more creative, yet practical approach to printmaking and file processing. This workshop consists of lectures and demonstrations that cover many technical and creative aspects of cameras, printers and Adobe software. Topics include how to properly process (develop) images without harming the file’s data, color management, basic retouching, panorama, HDR, and layering techniques on RAW files using Lightroom, Bridge and Photoshop. Students are asked to bring RAW images or a body of work on a hard drive to use in class.

Josh Withers is a professional digital artist and photographer with experience ranging from commercial advertising to fine art. He has worked as a professional Photoshop artist, educator and commercial photographer. Withers’ work has been seen on billboards and ads throughout the world for top brands such as Pepsi, Gatorade and Pedigree.
