Week 2 of the 3 week workshop Cross-disciplinary Studio Concentration: Woodworking, Sculpture & Fab Lab.
Customize your experience in three different studios at Anderson Ranch! During this workshop, students utilize and explore the Woodworking studio, Sculpture studio and Digital Fabrication Lab. Experiences can be project- based or driven by a desire to explore a new set of techniques and technologies. Demonstrations and instruction are tailored to the individual needs and interests the student. Staff are available to answer questions, offer guidance and discuss ideas. Leah Aegeter is an artist working primarily with wood, steel, and digital techniques to create object-based sculpture and installation. She holds a BFA in Sculpture from Rhode Island School of Design and is the current Fab Lab Technician at Anderson Ranch Arts Center.
Mark Tan is a studio furniture maker who received his degree in furniture design in the crafts & design program at Sheridan College in Toronto, Ontario. He is the Studio Coordinator for Furniture Design & Woodworking at Anderson Ranch Arts Center and has exhibited work in Canada and the United States.Register
