Concept:

Up-and-coming foodies need look no further than this enticing, dynamic workshop that explores the intersection of cuisine, creativity, culture and ceramics. Students dream up their ideal menu as we create food out of clay. Menu items may include tacos, popsicles, grilled cheese or a slice of cherry pie. We also create our very own personalized food truck out of clay! While the clay pieces are in the kiln, students design their own food truck logos, hand-printed aprons and masterful menus. Let’s create some culinary art!

Faculty:

Hilary Forsyth is the Art Director at the Aspen Community School, where she has taught all ages for the past 15 years. She has received the Patricia C. Moore Outstanding Educator Award as well as the Mary Ellen Nix Excellence in Art Teaching Award. She also illustrated the BearBop Press children’s books Family Field Guide Series featuring the following volumes: Rocky Mountain Mammals, Rocky Mountain Plants, Rocky Mountain Birds and Rocky Mountain Bugs.
