Discover the limitless possibilities of digital photography. Whether new to the digital landscape or a seasoned photographer looking to enhance your skill set, this workshop delves into the techniques and concepts of digital photography and composition. Learn creative picture-making and editing while achieving a thorough understanding of optimal camera controls for various shooting styles. Instruction includes apertures, shutters, equivalent exposures, using available light, portraiture and conceptual topics.
Digital photography, Digital Workflow using Adobe Lightroom and basic computer skills are necessary as well as the ability to edit and download images using an editing software.
Esther Macy Nooner received her M.F.A. in Studio Art from the University of Arkansas, School of Art in 2018. She has participated in Artist in Residencies in the National Park System, shown work nationally and internationally and is currently the Studio Coordinator for Photography and New Media at Anderson Ranch Arts Center.
Additional Information: Five-day virtual classes generally meet Monday – Friday from 9-10:30AM (MST) for one to two hours of group class time via Zoom Video Conferencing software (download free from Zoom.com) and then have one-on-one sessions in the afternoons from Monday – Thursday 1-4PM.
An Anderson Ranch staff member co-teaches the class and coordinates the online platform. There can be a group critique Friday afternoon to wrap up the class. Further details will be emailed to registrants.Register
