Stretch your imagination and explore different approaches to your photography. In this workshop, students build creative muscles and test out new concepts while capturing the world through the camera lens. Different filters, apps and post-production treatments are examined and students build their creative toolkit to push images further.
Media & Techniques:
Students explore digital photography and digital printmaking with Adobe Lightroom and/or Adobe Photoshop. For post-production, the focus is on different creative apps available via tablets and smartphones. Students may work with any post-production program, but app use is suggested. Students may also work with any camera.
Students engage in independent shooting, one-on-one and group discussions, reviews, lectures and studio time for editing, developing and printing images. Lectures, demonstrations and of hands-on studio work provide students with the opportunity to advance their skills. This workshop includes group excursions, creative and conceptual discussions, post-production labs and Independent work time. For the post-production lab, the focus is on different creative apps available via tablets and smartphones.
