You know that voice in your head, the one that is always criticizing, always convincing you that your work isn’t good enough? During this workshop of shooting, editing and reflecting, students learn how to tune out that voice of fear and tune into the artistic voice that anchors and inspires the photographic vision. Students set aside the obstacles of technical complexities to focus on more intuitive, reflective ways of working, ones that lead to heightened clarity and singular photos. Students focus on problem-solving assignments designed to engage emotions and personal connections that reveal an authentic visual voice.

Digital photography, digital printmaking, field trips to complement studio activities
