Searching for a better working knowledge of Adobe Lightroom Classic? In this hands-on, comprehensive workshop, Adobe’s Jan Kabili walks participants through the essentials of Lightroom Classic, the photo editing and organizing program that photographers have relied on for over a decade. Students discover the best ways to manage photographs in the Lightroom Classic Library module— an elemental organizational skill for any passionate photographer, and learn to take advantage of the user-friendly editing tools. Leave this workshop with an efficient workflow that helps bring out the best in your photography.


Digital photography, Adobe Lightroom, digital printmaking techniques, a field trip to complement studio activities


Jan Kabili is a photographer, author and educator. She has authored dozens of Photoshop and Lightroom courses on the popular training website / LinkedIn Learning. She currently works for Adobe, where she is in charge of the Photoshop and Lightroom tutorials on the Adobe website.

Additional Information: Five-day virtual classes generally meet Monday – Friday from 9-11:30AM (MST)  and 1-3pm (MST) via Zoom Video Conferencing software (download free from Students also receive one 30 minute individual session with Jan during the week.

An Anderson Ranch staff member co-teaches the class and coordinates the online platform. There can be a group critique Friday afternoon to wrap up the class. Further details will be emailed to registrants.
