Concept:

Feel the beat, and become inspired by sound, rhythm and movement in this musically-motivated course! Let your creativity flow with the music as we create our own artful instruments using a variety of artistic mediums and investigate different patterns and beats. We sculpt ceramic animal whistles and shakers, paper mache maracas, decoupaged tin drums, up-cycled wind chimes and more. Musicians from the Aspen Music School provide inspiration as we learn the properties of each instrument and what motivates the musicians to choose them. Tuning our imaginations, we create our own masterpieces in this fantastically fun course.
