Time: 9AM – 3PM
Create your very own functional tea set in this ceramics workshop to entertain your family and friends. Students are introduced to the fundamentals of clay; exploring both hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques to create each piece of a traditional English tea set – teapot, teacups, saucers, sugar jars and creamers. Surface and design is explored using majolica glazing techniques. While tea sets are in the kiln, students work on designing invitations for family and friends to join us for our final tea party after our kilns are unloaded, along with beautiful Colorado wildflower centerpieces, screen printed tablecloths and more!
