Students engage in skill-building sessions and discussions about some of the issues women face in documentary photography. Participants are responsible for finding and pitching a story, shooting and editing through the course of the week. Daily group critiques give advice about how to develop the images and stories. Students finish the week with an expanded network of peers, new work in progress and confidence in their ability to shoot, edit and sequence a deliberate narrative.
