Kaylee Peters
Kaylee Peters is an artist and educator from Dayton, Ohio. She holds a BFA in Art Education from the University of Dayton and is a recent recipient of the Culture Works Artist Opportunity Grant. Her lens-based work explores the connection between materiality and place through analog and alternative photographic processes. By printing on non-traditional surfaces, she examines the life cycle of materials, further embracing the physicality of a photograph. This approach reinforces her thematic exploration of memory and transformation while consciously pursuing an environmentally responsible studio practice.
