Trip Itinerary

This program encourages participants to slow down, observe closely, and engage more fully with the landscapes and communities they encounter. Photography and mindfulness work together to support presence, curiosity, and reflection.

Dingle

Day 1: Sunday, August 30 | Dublin to Dingle

Participants arrive at Dublin Airport and transfer by private coach to Dingle, County Kerry. The program begins with a welcome dinner and orientation.

Day 2: Monday, August 31 | Dingle Town and Celtic Spirituality

The day begins with a morning yoga session, followed by a guided walking tour of Dingle that offers insight into the town’s history, language, and cultural life. We visit An Díseart, a center dedicated to Celtic spirituality, local heritage, and the arts. Participants will view the Harry Clarke stained glass windows and take part in a walking meditation through the Diseart Gardens. The afternoon is reserved for independent exploration and photography.

Day 3: Tuesday, September 1 | Blasket Islands and The Dingle Way

A visit to the Blasket Centre introduces the literary and cultural history of the island community that once lived off the western coast. In the afternoon, participants hike a section of The Dingle Way (Slí Chorca Dhuibhne), encountering expansive views of sea and mountain, archaeological sites, and the distinctive ecology of the peninsula.

Day 4: Wednesday, September 2 | Slea Head and Local Craft

An excursion along Slea Head, the westernmost point of Ireland, includes visits with local craftspeople and time for yoga and mindfulness practices integrated into the landscape. The day concludes with a return to Dingle.

Day 5: Thursday, September 3 | Dingle to Killarney

Following a morning yoga practice, the group travels to Killarney. The afternoon is spent photographing in Killarney National Park, including Ross Castle and Muckross Abbey, where architecture, history, and landscape converge.

Dublin

Day 6: Friday, September 4 | Killarney to Dublin

Travel to Dublin and take part in a guided walking tour of the city, focused on both landmark sites and lesser-known spaces. The afternoon is open for independent exploration and photography.

Lodging: Trinity City Hotel

Day 7: Saturday, September 5 | Dublin: Manuscript, Museum, and Farewell

Participants visit Trinity College Dublin to view the Book of Kells, followed by a guided visit to Photo Museum Ireland, the national center for contemporary photography. The program concludes with a farewell dinner.

Lodging: Trinity City Hotel

Day 8: Sunday, September 6 | Departure

The program concludes after breakfast.
