DINO might DISCOVERY
Aug 16 - 20, 2021
9AM - 3PM
Concept
Interested in all things dinosaurs, fossils and prehistory? This workshop melds a love of natural history with exploring and creating. Students craft a paleolithic world; painting, drawing and building their favorite dinosaurs—real and imagined—in both two- and three-dimensional, mixed-media projects. Track gigantic T-Rex footprints, make papier-mâché dinosaur eggs and discover a hatching clay baby raptor not far from a colorfully collaged brontosaurus. Storytime reveals facts about the dinosaurs they are creating. A trip into the Jurassic can spark a lifetime of creativity.
