ANDERSON RANCH’S KIDSCULPT

January 1, 1970

Posted In: Events

Young creators from seven Roaring Fork Valley middle schools work together in teams to sculpt snow in Anderson Ranch’s KIDSCULPT competition, part of Aspen’s annual Winterskol festivities. Students work together to transform 4’x 4’x 4′ snow cubes into freestanding artistic sculptures. The completed sculptures are judged by a panel of independent community members based on overall artistry and creativity. For participating, each school receives a $200 stipend to be used for art supplies in the school’s art department. For more information, contact Katherine Bell at Anderson Ranch Arts Center: 970/923-3181 ext. 204.
