Whitney Johnson is the Deputy Director of Photography at National Geographic. Prior to joining National Geographic, she was the Director of Photography at The New Yorker, where her work was widely recognized, earning awards from the American Society of Magazine Editors, Awards of Excellence from the Society of Publication Designers, and a Peabody.

 

Elizabeth Ferrill received her M.F.A. from the Rhode Island School of Design. She has had solo exhibitions nationally and internationally, including in: Aspen, Colo.; Nashville, Tenn.; Omaha, Neb.; New York, N.Y.; and Berlin, Germany. Liz is the Artistic Advisor and Chair of the Critical Dialogue Program for Anderson Ranch.
