With an iPad and Apple Pencil, artists can tap into an entire artist studio. In this workshop, students are introduced to the power and flexibility of digital drawing and illustration on an iPad. Students explore a variety of tools, including Procreate and Adobe mobile apps for tablets. Daily activities lead to understanding custom workspaces, touchscreen gestures, resolution, digital brushes, selections to edit specific areas, working with layers, and layer masks for compositing. Students apply these skills by illustrating a scene from their beautiful surroundings and working from photographic source images. All drawing skill levels are welcome; students need to provide their own iPad and Pencil.

In this one-day workshop, students are introduced to the power and flexibility of digital drawing and illustration with the Procreate app. Students learn how to customize the workspace, use touchscreen gestures, explore Procreate’s extensive brush library, discover how to work with layers and use selection tools to edit specific areas of images and drawings. Students will apply these skills by illustrating a scene from their beautiful surroundings or work from a photographic source image. All drawing skill levels are welcome.

In this comprehensive workshop, students learn the essentials of Lightroom Classic for photo management, editing and publishing. The course begins by teaching students how to efficiently transfer and organize photos from the camera into Lightroom Classic. Students then learn editing techniques to create stunning images, starting with simple adjustments and moving to more advanced selective editing. This workshop puts artists in control of file management and image editing. Lessons include how to sync catalogs with the Lightroom cloud and automatically move images from your phone to Lightroom Classic on your computer.
