Innovative Approaches to Figurative Painting

Jun 9 - 13, 2025

9AM-5PM

Concept

This dynamic course explores the expressive potential of painting the human figure using diverse materials and techniques. Working from secondary sources such as photographs, artworks, and clay models, students create figurative narratives through a mixed media approach. The curriculum includes exercises in color observation and response, encouraging experimentation with various materials. By examining historical and cultural contexts, students develop confidence and freedom in their artistic interpretations. The workshop culminates with multiple projects, showcasing students’ innovative skills and creativity, developed throughout the week.

Media & Techniques
