Concept

Celebrate the magic of beloved children’s books and their iconic authors through creative expression! Students channel their inner wild thing by crafting Maurice Sendak-inspired masks and joining in a lively “wild rumpus” dance. We immerse ourselves in Ezra Jack Keats’ enchanting world by creating beautiful “Snowy Day” collages and making Peter’s footprints. Step into the charming realm of Beatrix Potter as we design miniature gardens inspired by her delightful characters. By blending these familiar stories with captivating art projects, we create our own imaginative worlds. Join us for a week of fun and creativity where literature comes to life through art!
