It was another event-full week at Anderson Ranch! Atist Petah Coyne and Gallery Director Dede Young’s lecture Monday evening on Navigating the Art World was both entertaining and enlightening. Wednesday brought The Reckoning authors and Catherine Opie to speak about feminism and in the contemporary art world. Thusday, artist Marilyn Minter introduced Catherine Opie’s Featured Artist lecture. Opie shared over 300 stunning images from her body of work.  Every studio this week was full of artists of all ages delving deeper into their own chosen artistic practices. Friday’s Lunchtime Auctionette was a blast, and the “Adventures in Screenwriting and Filmmaking” kids workshop premiered the epic films they shot around the Ranch this week on Friday afternoon.
