Hailing from Pamplona, the painter and sculptor Carlos Ciriza is one of Spain’s most renowned artists.  To date he has works in 25 countries in museums, parks and public and private collections, and featured in numerous books and catalogues.  His work is an exploration of volume, space, voids, and balance. He has specialized in the installation of monumental sculptures for public and private spaces (the last one measuring 23 meters in height), which blend in with the architecture around them and the urban and natural environments in which they are set (parks, squares, roundabouts, green areas and highways). He has made some eighty large-scale sculptures, now installed in Spain, Europe and America.
