Anderson Ranch Arts Center’s Advanced Art Programs offer committed artists the opportunity to deepen their practice through rigorous study, mentorship, critique, and creative exploration. Through Master Classes and the Advanced Mentored Studies program, artists work closely with world-renowned contemporary artists and educators to strengthen their technical, aesthetic, and conceptual approaches. Whether through an intensive, limited-enrollment Master Class or a three-year mentored study, these advanced programs provide the focused guidance, critical dialogue, and dedicated studio time artists need to expand their practice and take the next step in their creative careers.

Master Classes

Anderson Ranch Arts Center’s Master Classes are highly selective, limited-enrollment advanced art workshops designed for artists ready to push their work further. Led by world-renowned contemporary artists and educators, these intensive programs combine dedicated studio time, individual mentoring, group discussion, and critique to support meaningful aesthetic, technical, and conceptual development.

Advanced Mentored Studies

Anderson Ranch Arts Center’s Advanced Mentored Studies programs provide artists with sustained mentorship from leading contemporary artists and educators. This three-year program offers studio work, critical dialogue, individual and group critiques, portfolio reviews, and ongoing faculty meetings, allowing participants to develop their artistic practice with depth and continuity. Programs are offered in Photography, Painting and Drawing, Sculpture, Digital Fabrication, and Ceramics, giving advanced artists the guidance and critical perspective needed to expand their work and contribute meaningfully to their fields.
