Advancement Strategy and Campaign Advisor

Lindsay Aroesty serves as Anderson Ranch Arts Center’s Advancement Strategy and Campaign Advisor through December 2027, partnering with the President & CEO to build a major and principal gift program from the ground up, launch a planned giving strategy and legacy society, and guide the Ranch toward a future capital campaign.

Lindsay is the Founder and Principal of Roaring Fork Philanthropy, where she works with local and national clients on fundraising strategy, with particular expertise in major and principal gift programming, development committee activation, and planned giving. She helps organizations build the frameworks, relationships, and culture that turn donors into lasting partners, translating big-organization strategy into right-sized tools for nonprofits of every scale.

Lindsay brings nearly 16 years of frontline development leadership from The Pittsburgh Foundation, one of the nation’s leading community foundations, where she served as Vice President of Development & Donor Services. There, she oversaw fundraising and donor services across the organization, raising $102 million in her final year and building a $300 million+ planned giving pipeline, with deep experience in donor-advised funds and multigenerational family philanthropy.

A sought-after speaker and facilitator, Lindsay has been engaged by the Nonprofit Center for Excellence, through the Aspen Community Foundation and Human Service Innovations, to instruct their Level-Up Series workshops on fundraising best practices. She has also spoken for the Council on Foundations and served as Lead Facilitator for The Amelia Group, a peer network of Vice Presidents of Philanthropy at community foundations across the country and Canada. Before her work in community foundations, she helped lead a $150 million capital campaign at The Taft School.

Lindsay holds a master’s degree in public management from Carnegie Mellon (highest honors) and a bachelor’s degree from Colby College. She is a resident of the Roaring Fork Valley, where she lives with her husband, Michael, and their two kids.
