Tuition $1,050
Code P0926-23
Create your own personal mythology by combining and creating imagery in unconventional ways. This workshop takes students on a journey of observing, gathering, creating, and collaging photographs and scans in order to transform them into something that symbolizes a personal exploration specific to your life. Participants photograph in and out of the studio, gather objects from nature, and scan personal items they bring with you or find along the way. They assemble various images into digital collages created by simple to advanced photoshop techniques. The workshop has a fluid structure with ample time for experimenting with and processing of ideas. Replace media: Digital photography, workflow, working from an archive, digital collage methods, group discussions and feedback, artists’ lectures
