Tyanna J. Buie
Tyanna J. Buie is a Chicago and Milwaukee artist and educator. She holds an MFA from UW–Madison. A Joan Mitchell, Kresge, and Grant Wood Fellow, she has held residencies nationwide and exhibited at institutions like the Detroit Institute of Arts, The Turner Museum, and Print Center New York. Her work is in major collections and publications. Buie is an associate professor and Graduate Director of Printmaking at the Rhode Island School of Design.
