Space is limited for all housing options. Housing is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. The earlier you make your housing request, the better your chance of receiving one of your preferred choices. To guarantee your housing reservation, payment is due in full 60 days prior to the start date of your stay.
Housing check-in begins at noon on the Sunday before your workshop. Check-out is by 10 a.m. the Saturday following your workshop. Smoking and pets are not permitted in any Anderson Ranch housing. If dorm housing is requested, a fee will be charged should there be any damage to the room. Anderson Ranch provides economical housing. If you prefer luxury accommodations, contact Stay Aspen Snowmass at 888/649-5982 or online at stayaspensnowmass.com or Destination Snowmass at 866/786-9101 or destinationsnowmass.com.
Our goal is to meet your needs. Please let us know if you have physical limitations with regards to walking, stairs, vision, etc. However, we are unable to guarantee bed size, special amenities or specific housing assignments. Students who snore or who need to use a CPAP machine while sleeping are asked to reserve a single room in the dorm, so as to limit disruption to others.
Wyly House Dormitory
The dorm is a two-story, co-ed building located on the Anderson Ranch campus next to the Café. There are 18 bedrooms and a common area. Dormitory housing includes meals in the Anderson Ranch Café. Food is not allowed in the dormitory. There are coin-operated washers and dryers. Phones are not available in the dormitory or rooms, however most cell phone providers have service in the area.
The rooms are clean and modest, with four different options: Option A (double) is a 2-person shared room/shared bath; Option Q (quad) is a 4-person shared room (single sex)/shared bath; Option B1 (single) is a private room/private bath – please be aware that these rooms only have a courtyard view available; and Option B2 (single) is a private room/shared bath. The 2-person shared rooms, Option A, have two single beds and a vanity sink; every two rooms are connected by one co-ed bath. The 4-person shared rooms, Option Q, have two sets of bunk beds and one attached bathroom. We do our best to match roommate ages in the double option A, but are unable to do so for the quad option Q since there is only one Quad room for males and one Quad room for females. Private rooms, Options B1 and B2, are extremely limited. Students and guests under the age of 18 are not permitted to stay in the dormitory.

Pets & Service Animals
Pets are not allowed at Anderson Ranch. Other than Anderson Ranch pets or trained service animals (such as Seeing Eye dogs), no pets are allowed on the grounds, in cars in the parking lot or in Anderson Ranch-provided housing. There are few housing facilities in Aspen or Snowmass Village that allow pets. If you must bring your pet, please ask us about an appropriate local kennel.
Anderson Ranch complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Any student who plans to bring a service animal must notify the Registrar at the time of registration, at which time we may ask if the service animal is required because of a disability and what work or task the service animal has been trained to do. A service animal must be under the handler’s control at all times, and the handler is expected to clean up after the service animal. If dorm housing is requested, a fee will be charged should there be any damage to the room. For more information, click here.
Camping in tents, RVs or vehicles on the Anderson Ranch campus and within the Town of Snowmass Village is prohibited by town ordinances. Camping is fairly limited within a 15- to 20-mile radius of Anderson Ranch.
Freshly prepared meals are served in our on-campus café. Both a vegetarian and a meat-based option are available at each meal. We are unable to accommodate specific food preferences, dietary requirements, or handle medical reactions or food allergies. We encourage those with special dietary needs to book off-campus accommodations that have facilities where you can prepare your own meals.
Meal tickets may be purchased upon arrival at Anderson Ranch.
Anderson Ranch takes food allergies very seriously and is not equipped to handle allergic reactions. If you have specific dietary needs or allergies, booking your own accommodations off-campus is your best option so you have access to a refrigerator and cooking facilities. We cannot accommodate particular food preferences, dietary restrictions or food allergies, nor is there space to store special dietary foods, medications or beverages. Please be advised that the Ranch Café menu items may contain allergens such as milk (dairy), eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts (almonds, walnuts, pecans, etc.), peanuts, wheat (gluten) and soybeans, and there is always a risk of contamination or cross-contact.
