In this colorful, high-energy workshop, we explore the transformative power of art! Inspired by American sculptor, performance artist, and dancer Nick Cave, we combine visual art, sculpture, sound, movement, and storytelling into a week-long creative adventure. We play with color and texture through collage, drawing, painting, and sculpture. Using imagination and a variety of recycled materials, we design and build our own mixed-media wearable art pieces inspired by Cave’s Soundsuits. This workshop celebrates creativity, self-expression, and joy. The week culminates with an exhibition and a live presentation, where we showcase our wearable art for parents and families to enjoy!
