Art: It All Makes Sense!

Aug 19 - 23, 2024

9AM - 12PM

Concept

Art should be experienced with all five senses. This course explores how art can be touched, heard, tasted, and smelled. Together, artists create ceramic work with varying textures, recreate their favorite foods as artwork, create instruments from recycled items, and make prints from nature—to name just a few examples of projects to awaken the senses. Pack your imagination and prepare yourself for a multi-sensory art experience.

This hands-on workshop for teens explores state-of-the-art techniques in skateboard design and construction, giving participants the opportunity to create their own unique, functional skateboard.
