We build bright red fire trucks with rolling wheels, collage daring helicopter rescues with painted skies and swirling clouds, and craft shiny police badges from foil, markers, and ribbon. Inspired by snowy slopes, we design wild skis and snowboards with bold shapes and imaginative patterns. Stepping into the wild with a real park ranger, we create magical mini dioramas filled with trees, animals, and ranger cabins. With visits from real-life heroes and a week full of fun surprises, we let our creativity shine as we celebrate the helpers who make our world a better place. For curious kids, a camera is a magical tool to explore and capture the world! In this fun, hands-on workshop, students dive into the art of storytelling through photography, learning to see their surroundings in exciting new ways. They’ll explore the history of image-making, experiment with cool techniques like cyanotypes, and work with today’s digital photography. Inspired by the beautiful Anderson Ranch campus, participants create unique photographs and prints, sparking creativity and a potential lifelong love of photography.
