Open the cover and step into a world of imagination! In this playful workshop, kids explore the magic of books by creating their own stories and artwork from cover to cover. Young makers design and bind their own handmade books using paper, cardboard, and string, filling the pages with colorful drawings, playful collages, and the wild stories of their imagination. Along the way, they experiment with different illustration styles—painting with tissue paper like Eric Carle, drawing bold characters inspired by Mo Willems, and layering textures like Ezra Jack Keats. Throughout the week, students dive into fun paper crafts, try out mini projects inspired by the history of writing and printing, and explore inventive ways to bring their stories to life. This workshop celebrates creativity, storytelling, and the joy of reading. At the end of the week, every child will take home a unique, handmade book to share, keep, and treasure—just like the ones they love to read!

Get ready to move, create, and play like a champion! In this high-energy workshop, kids dive into the world of sports and athletics—through art. They design bold, colorful team flags, decorate mini footballs and baseballs, and even craft tennis racquets from cardboard and string. Young makers build tiny skis and snowboards for action-figure races, splash paint across swimming scenes, and create mixed-media collages inspired by running, biking, and triathlons. Golf gets a fun twist too, with painted putting greens and brightly patterned golf balls that are as playful as they are artistic. This workshop is all about imagination in motion—where kids can combine creativity with their favorite sports, experiment with new materials, and leave with a collection of one-of-a-kind athletic art!
