Guest Faculty Lecture: Chris Staley and Kate Leonard

Sunday and Tuesday evenings, June through September, the Ranch features a 60-minute presentation by distinguished faculty members and Visiting Artists. These insightful talks dive into inspiration, the creative process and more.
Guest Faculty Lecture are free, open to the public, and available in person or via livestream. Registration is required for attendance. All on-campus workshop participants will be pre-registered for this event.

Kate Leonard
Kate Leonard is a professor of art at Colorado College, where she directs the Graphics Research Lab, an innovative program in printmaking. Her work is exhibited nationally and internationally.

Chris Staley
Chris Staley is a Distinguished Professor of Art at Penn State University, and was selected to be the Penn State Laureate in 2012. He was awarded the Universities Milton Eisenhower Distinguished Teaching Award and in 2021 received an NCECA Excellence in Teaching Award. His work is in numerous collections including The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. He is currently writing a book, Teaching: Art & Life, about what he learned during 42 years of teaching.
