Sunday and Tuesday evenings, June through September, the Ranch features a 60-minute presentation by distinguished faculty members and Visiting Artists. These insightful talks dive into inspiration, the creative process and more.
This presentation is free and open to the public, however registration is required for in-person attendance. All on-campus workshop students will be pre-registered for this event.

In Conversation With

Holly Hughes
A frequent Anderson Ranch Guest Faculty member, Holly Hughes is Professor Emeritus of Painting at the Rhode Island School of Design. Holly’s work is inspired by the decorative arts and nature and takes the form of painting, ceramics and printmaking. She loves salon-style installations, such as BLAZON created for the Dorsky Museum.

Elizabeth Ferrill received her MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. She has had solo exhibitions nationally and internationally, including in: Aspen, CO; Nashville, TN; Omaha, NE; New York, NY; and Berlin, Germany. Liz is the Artistic Director of Painting, Drawing and Printmaking at Anderson Ranch Arts Center. Preferred Pronouns: She/Her
