Corey Torpie

Corey Torpie is a Queens, New York based photographer, organizer, and educator. She has been the lead photographer for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez since 2018. She is working on a long term project documenting the role of women and non-binary leaders in Community Organizing. Corey has been photographing weddings for the past 15 years.
Corey has a strong commitment to building community through education and photography – most recently as a lead teacher at The International Center of Photography’s community programs at The Point in Hunts Point, teaching darkroom photography to preteens.
