Collage and Paint: Taking it Further
Holly Roberts
Tuition $1,350
Code P1531-23
In this workshop, students begin with experimentations in painting substrates using a variety of methods (mostly)without brushes, involving paint peels, drywall mud, pouring and scraping techniques, stencils, contact paper, and more. These surfaces become the foundation of the final collages, creating unique imagery with multiple photographic transfer methods. Participants are encouraged to use their own source material combined with found imagery. Faculty will facilitate group discussions as well as one-on-one time for further development of each student's work.
