Jubilee Rivera-Hernandez is a fourth grade educator in Denver, CO. Jubilee earned an MA in teaching from Colorado College as well as a BA in education with minors in art studio and Spanish. Jubilee strives to integrate the arts into her classroom, believing art has the power to create change on a personal and collective level.

In this workshop, design and create works of art that are odes to what you love! Throughout the week, we create 2-D and 3-D artworks that reflect the people and things that are important to us. Our artwork will also tell the story of what we want to be when we grow up and the world we imagine living in. We work creatively with paint, oil pastels, collage, glitter, clay, and papier-mâché. We also learn about famous artists to inspire us! Get ready to tell your story through art, and to put your creations on display at the end of the week.
