Building Plates and Prints with Digital Applications

Laura Berman

Tuition $1,150
Code R0505-23

Taking an exploratory approach to image making, this workshop introduces a variety of collage and printmaking techniques through both digital and analog methods of building an artwork. Students investigate uncommon ways of combining digital applications for plate-making and collage, along with hands-on printmaking and traditional collage techniques. We work in combination with stencils, color viscosity, layered prints, and collage. The goal is to explore shape, form, and line through an expanded image vocabulary in printmaking.
