Artists are trampling the line between contemporary furniture craft and sculpture more frequently and fearlessly than ever. In this workshop, open to all levels, students learn woodworking and handcraft techniques to create unique sculptural side tables or stools. With a focus on hardwood construction, simple joinery, and finishing techniques, the course explores form, process, and sculptural solutions to create a piece of functional art. Learn to create something fun, one-of-a-kind, and imbued with life and character.
