Teen Digital Storytelling with Motion Capture and Illustration
In this one-week workshop, students explore storytelling and character design techniques to create a three- to five-minute animated short. Students start the week learning the basics of character design and story development and then jump into Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop to create characters, scenery, and props. In the later half of the week, students use Adobe Character Animator to rig their characters and use motion capture technology to bring characters to life, recording scenes with animation and sound to create a memorable animated short.
