Gouache and Mixed Media

Yolanda Gonzalez

Tuition $1,225
Code D1227-24

Participants embrace nature, color, and shape in this mixed media workshop, allowing nature, just outside the door, to inspire dynamic abstracts as they develop lines, patterns, and repetitions. Students sketch their vision, handcraft their color palette on tissue, and dive into the richness of gouache—a true gift for color enthusiasts. Together, the class explores composition on paper and wood panels, taking cues from the natural world, all while deepening an understanding of collage. Daily prompts fuel creativity, and the instructor is there to guide, sharing demos and insights as students transform raw inspiration into vivid artistry on a colorful journey.
