Art: It All Makes Sense!

Aug 22 - 26, 2022

9AM - 12PM

Concept

Art shouldn’t just be seen, but experienced with all five senses. This course explores how art can be touched, heard, tasted and smelled. Together, artists create ceramic work with varying textures, recreate their favorite foods as artwork, create sound instruments from recycled items, make prints from nature—to name just a few examples of the senses awakening. Pack your imagination and prepare yourself for a multi-sensory art experience.

This workshop is taught by a bilingual art educator who will support our English and Spanish speaking participants through the use of both languages during instruction.
