Discover the Workshop
Nurture a passion for photography in a fun and supportive environment that emphasizes exploration, practice, and play in this dynamic workshop. Teens delve into how captivating photographs engage their audience visually, emotionally, and intellectually. By focusing on both the technical aspects of photography and the underlying creative concepts, participants enhance their image-making skills in an encouraging atmosphere. The workshop emphasizes storytelling techniques, capturing the surrounding environment, and the creation of stunning images using Adobe Photoshop. Students edit and retouch images and discover innovative ways to combine, blend, and mix visuals, all while having fun and supporting one another throughout the creative journey.

Meet Your Faculty
Stephanie Lindsey
Stephanie Lindsey’s work draws from personal experiences and a deep interest in the intersections of culture, life, and identity. Her practice spans complex narrative photography, video, installation, and mixed-media works, addressing themes of place, family, race, and identity in American society. Through her art, Lindsey maps the intricate interplay of cultural, physical, and psychological spaces, revealing how these forces shape human experience.

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Children must be the correct age for the workshop as of the first day of class. Registration is confirmed once parents receive confirmation by email, and the online waiver form must be completed before the first workshop.
Payment: Children’s and teen workshops are charged in full at the time of registration.
Cancellations: With at least 60 days’ notice, we will refund your payments less a cancellation fee of $150 per workshop. Cancellations made within 60 days of the start of the workshop will result in a full forfeiture.
Students attending all-day workshops are asked to bring a sack lunch and a snack.

Making Art Accessible
Applications for scholarship support are encouraged. Specific scholarships are funded by Ranch supporters, either through endowed funds or special gifts.
Many colleges and universities offer college credit for workshops taken at Anderson Ranch. Discounts are available for students and teachers.
