This week we sat down with printmaker Brad Ewing who taught the Screen Printing for Serious Amateurs workshop here at Anderson Ranch. Hear about the print swap that occurred in the class, and Brad’s feelings about handmaking screen prints as opposed to using films and photographs.

Brad Ewing has been a visiting instructor for Pratt Institute’s Printmaking Department for the past ten years. He is also Co-Director of Planthouse Gallery, founded in 2013. Additionally, he prints and publishes for Grenfell Press and Marginal Editions. Brad received his M.F.A. from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2004.
