John Alleyne
John Alleyne is a Barbados native based in New Orleans, LA. His paintings and monoprints are rooted in exploring concepts of freedom and memory, connecting his lived experience with an intuitive, experimental process of silkscreen mark-making. He received his MFA in Painting and Drawing from Louisiana State University. Alleyne is an Assistant Professor of Art at Southern University and A&M College.
